Today see Nacho celebrate his 32nd birthday. The academy product, who was born in Madrid on 18 January 1990, came up through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, joining the club’s Alevín A side in 2001. His spell in the youth set-up makes Nacho the longest-serving player at our club.
Since making his first-debut bow in April 2011, the defender has racked up 255 competitive appearances and lifted four Champions League trophies and Club World Cups apiece, four Spanish Super Cups, a trio of UEFA Super Cups, a pair of LaLiga titles and a Copa del Rey. Nacho is also a full international with Spain.
