NAC Breda have announced Juho Talvitie as their latest acquisition. The 20-year-old Finland international has joined on loan for one season from Belgian side Lommel SK.

Talvitie made the move from FC Ilves to Lommel SK (of the City Football Group) at just 16 in 2021. In the club’s green and white colours, he scored seven goals and provided three assists before being loaned to Heracles Almelo.

Last season, the right winger played in the Eredivisie for the Heraclieden, where he scored three goals in 31 league outings.

According to NAC’s club website, the winger could’ve chosen to transfer to a number of different Eredivisie clubs, but he ultimately selected NAC.

Technical Director Peter Maas explained the transfer: “For the coming season, we were initially looking for an attacker who can pose a threat from the right flank. We have now found that with Juho. The fact that Talvitie has already played in the Eredivisie is certainly an advantage for us.”

Talvitie also spoke about his arrival in Breda: “I am really looking forward to starting at NAC and getting to know everyone at the club. Together with the supporters, we have to fight for a great season in the Eredivisie, and I am really looking forward to that.”
