Jacob Bruun Larsen has swapped shirts a number of times in his career. His most valuable one is from a superstar. At the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, the Dane received Neymar's jersey – and the story surrounding the swap is still very clear in his mind.

"My favourite shirt that I've ever swapped was the one that I got at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. I was 17 years old and we played against host nation Brazil in the group stages. Brazil had to beat us and they completely destroyed us. (laughs) But we still made it through to the quarter-finals that day. I swapped shirts with Neymar after the match. I asked him in the 60th minute, when we were standing side by side, whether we could do that after the game. At the final whistle, many of my team-mates then ran over to him but he had already promised it to me. It was huge for me as a 17-year-old to have swapped with Neymar, who at that time was probably in the form of his life. In addition, he was wearing the No. 10 and Brazil went on to win the gold medal too. Despite the defeat, it was a crazy moment in my early career. But I wasn't really nervous, I was also wearing the No. 10 shirt, plus there had also been some reports about me because I was probably the youngest player at the tournament. Neymar, who was playing for Barcelona at the time, was cool about it when I asked him. In that game, I was able to see live how well football can be played. But I'm reluctant to reveal where this shirt is now hanging – it means too much to me to do that. (laughs)

Generally speaking, I swap shirts very frequently and I sometimes also ask players whom I really liked in a particular match. I've now also been approached a few times myself, which always makes me happy. I now have a nice collection. When it comes to my own shirts, the one from my first international appearance for Denmark is very important to me. The match in Kosovo (editor's note: 2-2) wasn't the biggest game of my career but I was in the starting line-up wearing the No. 7 and it was very important to me. Generally, I like to keep my shirts from special matches."
