Indian Super League (ISL) side, Kerala Blasters FC's newest signing, Bryce Miranda has opened up on signing for the club, claiming that his "ultimate fantasy" was to play for Kerala and it is a "dream come true".

Miranda who came into prominence while playing for Churchill Brothers in the I-League and his performances attracted interest from a number of top ISL clubs - though for the winger, he had only one club who he wanted to play for.

"When I got to know that Kerala Blasters FC are interested in me, I just couldn’t say no because this was one club I was dreaming to play for, and especially dreaming to play in Kerala. The fans there are incredibly supportive and passionate. The love and support I got after Kerala Blasters FC announced my signing was just incredible and I can’t wait to be in Kochi and play in front of those amazing fans. My dream has come true," he said in an interview.

The Blasters had made their interest to sign him known for over a month and there is a good reason why they pursued the youngster as his performances for Churchill earned him a call-up to the Under-23 national team for the Asian Cup qualifiers in UAE.

Despite scoring just two goals and registering four assists for Churchill in his 32 appearances for them, his potential is evident and there is no reason why he cannot step up his game under the guidance of Blasters head coach, Ivan Vukomanovic.
