Fenerbahce have sent Fiorentina their first formal offer for former Manchester United loanee Sofyan Amrabat, in a proposal that could eventually earn La Viola upwards of €15m.
Fenerbahce sent Fiorentina their first formal offer for the Morocco international earlier on Tuesday.
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, Fenerbahce are hoping to sign Amrabat on loan with an option to buy, and have reportedly offered Fiorentina a fee of €15m to make the move permanent.
The player himself has already given his approval to the move, according to Tuesday’s reports.
Fiorentina have been looking to sell Amrabat for the last two summers, as his contract is due to expire next year, in the summer of 2025. Manchester United decided against activating the buy option they negotiated with La Viola, which stood at around €25m.
Somewhat surprisingly, he has started in both of Fiorentina’s first two matches of the Serie A season under Raffaele Palladino,. Both games, against Parma and Venezia, resulted in draws.
