Ex RC Toulon rugby club owner Mourad Boudjellal on Tuesday completed the acquisition of 4th division football side Hyères.
After an attempt over the summer to purchase Ligue 1 side Marseille from Frank McCourt backed by Moroccan/Saudi Arabian money, Boudjellal found an agreement this morning with the municipality of Hyères to officially become the club’s new boss.

Boudjellal is believed to have tapped Nicolas Anelka to become the club’s new Sporting Director, according to L’Équipe.
