Scotland put in a performance for the ages as they claimed a 0-0 draw at Wembley against England.
And our Man of the Match is âŠ
Itâs been 25 years since Scotland played England in a major tournament. Itâs been 22 years since Scotland even as much as beat England in a competitive game.
This may not have been a win at the Home of Football, but for Scotland, this felt as good as one.
Steve Clarkeâs men came to Wembley and went toe-to-toe with one of the pre-tournament favourites and bettered them in almost every department.
There were heroes all over the pitch.
The midfield of John McGinn, Callum McGregor and Billy Gilmour was exceptional, Grant Hanley had Harry Kane in his pocket, and Kieran Tierney showed why Arsenal want to offer him a new five-year deal.
But just pipping them to this award is Andy Robertson.
The Scotland captain put in a heroic 90 minutes here, never once shirking his responsibility and offering a constant attacking threat as well as a solid defensive base.
Plenty of people had written off Scotland before Friday eveningâs match.
They certainly wonât any more.
