In the year since signing from Middlesbrough, Morgan Rogers has quickly become a standout for Aston Villa, and his goal and assist against Tottenham continue his fine form in front of goal.
His ball to Jacob Ramsey was brilliant, and showed off his playmaking ability, while he was on hand to finish from close range for Villa's second.
He now has six assists to go with his 11 goals, putting him behind only Ollie Watkins in the Villa contributions rankings
With the striker out tonight, the 22-year-old took up the mantle in perfect style.
With Marcus Rashford and Marcos Asensio now at Villa, as well as Donyell Malen, there is plenty of competition for places up front, but Rogers is fast becoming the first name on the team sheet for Unai Emery.
A call up to Thomas Tuchel's first England squad appears imminent.
