Noah Okafor has been offered to Spurs, a journalist has claimed, as their search for a winger late in the January transfer window continues.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, there have been ‘indirect contacts between Tottenham and Milan’ for Okafor ‘in the last few hours’. Tottenham are looking for a winger and are targeting Mathys Tel but the competition is very high.

Okafor has been proposed as an alternative solution, with the Swiss international having been close to joining RB Leipzig previously showing that Milan are indeed willing to part with him in January.

As a reminder, Okafor even flew to Germany to undergo a medical with the Bundesliga side but had to fly less than 24 hours later back as the deal collapsed.

Leipzig seemed to leak that it was due to an unsatisfactory medical – which Milan took a shot at – but as we revealed there was a late attempt to change economic aspects.

So far this season, Okafor has been in the starting line-up for 14% of Milan’s games across all competitions but has only played 15% of the available minutes. He has not scored since August either; the 95th-minute equaliser against Torino in the first round of the Serie A season.
