Moretto: Belahyane’s entourage aware of Milan interest but challenge awaits them | OneFootball

It has come to light that AC Milan have an interest in Hellas Verona midfielder Reda Belahyane, but it seems they will face a challenge to get him.

Milan will once again be active in the midfield mercato this winter, and their primary target looks to be Verona’s Belahyane. The 2004-born midfielder ticks a lot of boxes for the Rossoneri, and given his lower price of €10 million, the operation is more feasible.

With Geoffrey Moncada’s extensive scouting of French talents, it is probable that he has been on the radar for some time. Albeit this is the first time any interest in him has come to light.

It seems the Diavolo are not alone in their interest, though, and according to Matteo Moretto’s report (via Milan News), there is interest from across Europe, most notably from Marseille and Chelsea it seems.

However, Milan have made his entourage aware of their interest in the player, so this could play into their hands, as long as they act faster than other interested clubs. Given the Moroccan midfielder has played in a double pivot for Verona, he should have no problems settling in if he were to join the club in the winter.
