MIAMI – The 2024 Concacaf Central American Cup concluded its semifinals as the two remaining clubs move onto to compete for the trophy. Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Goalkeeper

Leonel Moreira, LD Alajuelense Moreira collected two clean sheets while registering six saves and five clearances.

Defenders

Manjrekar James, LD Alajuelense James tallied eight ball recoveries and completed 90% of his passes.

José Ardón, Antigua GFC – Ardón was the leader defensively for Antigua, helping the team record a clean sheet in the first leg and contributing three ball recoveries.

Alexis Gamboa, LD Alajuelense Gamboa recorded three ball recoveries and was key for the Costa Rican side to keep two clean sheets.

Midfielders

Josué Quijano, Real Estelí FC – Quijano played the entirety of the semifinals and was active on both ends of the pitch, contributing eight ball recoveries and seven shots.

Harold Medina, Real Estelí FC – Medina was instrumental in midfield, tallying an assist, three shots and one ball recovery.

Rashir Parkins, LD Alajuelense Parkins delivered the series-winning goal to clinch the ticket to the final for Alajuelense. He was also a presence both defensively and offensively with five ball recoveries and five shots.

Óscar Castellanos, Antigua GFC – Castellanos contributed one ball recovery and five shots from midfield.

Byron Bonilla, Real Estelí FC – Bonilla continued to be one of the most active players in attack with six shots and featured full time in the two legs against Herediano.

Attackers

Iván Ochoa, Real Estelí – Ochoa was the architect of Real Estelí’s heroic comeback with a brace in the final minutes of the second leg. He also contributed four ball recoveries.

Marcel Hernández, CS Herediano – Hernández scored a goal in the second leg against Real Estelí and contributed with six shots in the series.
