"I'm happy with the performance and the attitude from the boys. "That was a big challenge for the boys at the end of the first English week. Union played a very intense game, were quicker to act at times and were more aggressive in the challenges," said Gorges in summary. BVB, who were without the injured Jan-Luca Riedl and Fadi Zarqelain, did not settle into their usual link-up play on the dry and hard pitch at the Stadion an der Wuhlheide and made some uncharacteristic technical errors.
