Arsenal and Chelsea will contest the showpiece at Molineux, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, on Sunday 31 March 2024.
The Football Association today provided an update on ticket sales with more than 15,000 tickets having already been claimed. With almost half of Molineux having been booked out, it is hoped that a capacity crowd will cheer on the teams come Easter Sunday.
Arsenal are the current FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup holders. They defeated Chelsea 3-1 in last season’s final at Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park. The Gunners entered this season’s competition in the group stage and they have successfully negotiated their path to another final. Arsenal won three out of four of their group stage matches before seeing-off London City Lionesses and Aston Villa in the knockout stages.
Chelsea entered this season’s competition at the quarter-final stage due to their European commitments. The Blues have defeated Sunderland and Manchester City on their way to the final.
Last season’s FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final attracted a record crowd of 19,010. Another attendance record is almost certain to be set this year.
