Fans react as Liverpool complete Diogo Jota signing from Wolves

Liverpool are one of the many clubs in Europe who seem to have left their player recruitment for this season to the last minute. Up until about a couple of days ago, Kostas Tsimikas was the only player that the Reds had acquire.

Now though, in the space of just two days, the club has made two further signings that’s sure to strengthen the team immediately. The arrival of Thiago Alcantara was greeted with massive plaudits, and the reaction with Diogo Jota has been no different.

Liverpool announced the permanent signing of Jota on Saturday, which means that another talented name has been added to the Reds’ already dangerous attack-line.

With an extra option for Jurgen Klopp to work with from next weekend, productive and exciting times are certainly staying on the horizon for the Merseyside club.

After Liverpool confirmed the deal, a large number of Reds fans took to Twitter to express their uncontrollable elation. Here’s how some fans reacted to the signing:

After having made a subdued start to the transfer window, Liverpool have burst out into action over the past couple of days. The signings of Thiago and Jota should put us in a strong position as we prepare to defend the Premier League title and chase European glory again.

If the club is able to  add a centre-back on top of this, to replace the departed Dejan Lovren, it will be a brilliant transfer window for us. With the deadline still a couple of weeks away, we can expect another surprise signing at Anfield.
