Wales will lock horns with Denmark at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday evening, hoping to pick up a positive result and progress into the quarter-finals of the Euro 2020 tournament. The Dragons will be coming into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Italy, whereas Kasper Hjulmand’s men recorded an emphatic 4-1 win over Russia on Matchday 3.

Robert Page will probably opt for the 4-1-4-1 formation with a couple of tweaks from the last game as Kieffer Moore is likely to make his way back into the starting eleven. Below is the 4-1-4-1 Wales Predicted Lineup Vs Denmark.

Defence

Danny Ward is expected to start in goal for the upcoming encounter. The Leicester City shot-stopper would be looking to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday.

Joe Rodon will continue to form the centre-half partnership with Chris Mepham at the heart of Wales’ backline.

Connor Roberts is a guaranteed starter at the right-back position, whereas Ben Davies will fill in on the other flank as the left-back. The duo would be expected to stay compact and keep their shape defensively.

Neco Williams will have to settle for a place on the bench but could be brought on in the latter stages of the game if needed. Ethan Ampadu remains suspended for the fixture after being sent off in the 55th minute against Italy.

Midfield

Joe Morrell is expected to start in the central midfield position, whereas Joe Allen will slot in as the defensive midfielder. The pair would be looking to put up a strong performance and dominate the midfield proceedings against Denmark on Saturday. Jacob Ramsey seems likely to start as the attacking midfielder.

Gareth Bale and Daniel James will take up the wide positions, playing on the right and left-wing respectively.

Attack

Kieffer Moore is expected to lead the line for his side against Denmark. The 28-year-old would hope to get his name on the scoresheet when he faces off against the Denmark defence that has conceded four goals in their last three games.
