Lazio will be gunning for their sixth straight win across all competitions when they lock horns with Monza at the U-Power Stadium.
The contest kicks off on Sunday at 18:00 local time.
Alessandro Nesta will have to do without the injured Alessio Cragno, Stefano Sensi and Samuele Birindelli, but he will still be able to rely on the bulk of his regular starters. Stefano Turati will start in goal, with Armando Izzo, Pablo Mari and Andrea Carboni ahead of him. Pedro Pereira and Giorgos Kyriakopoulos will take the wingback slots as usual.
Club captain Matteo Pessina should return to the starting lineup after remaining benched last weekend against Milan. The Euro 2020 winner will reunite with Warren Bondo in the double pivot, while Dany Mota and Daniel Maldini support Milan Djuric upfront.
Monza (3-4-2-1): Turati; Izzo, Mari, Carboni; Pereira, Pessina, Bondo, Kyriakopoulos; Mota, Maldini; Djuric.
Marco Baroni has reportedly decided to change his tactical setup, at least for this particular contest, dropping his usual 4-2-3-1 for a 4-3-3 formation spearheaded by Boulaye Dia, with club captain Mattia Zaccagni and the mesmerizing Pedro joining him in attack.
Nicolo Rovella will act as a deep-lying playmaker, while Matteo Guendouzi and Matias Vecino operate as box-to-box midfielders. Mario Gila returns to the starting lineup, joining Alessio Romangnoli at the heart of the defense, with Adam Marusic and Nuno Tavares completing the backline.
Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares; Guendouzi, Rovella, Vecino; Pedro, Dia, Zaccagni.
