Serie A side Monza are set to sign Pablo Mari on a permanent basis from Arsenal once the ongoing loan stint ends.
Mari had joined the then-newly promoted side in the previous summer on a loan deal and the defender has done quite well for the club, having made 26 Serie A appearances for the Biancorossi this season.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Brazilian is set to join Monza permanently in the summer, with Arsenal set to receive a fee of £6 million from the sale of the 29-year-old. Personal terms between Monza and Mari have already been agreed, with the deal all set to go through.
Last season, Mari had spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Udinese and he had done well for the Friul-based outfit too, scoring twice in 15 league appearances. Other Serie A clubs were interested in him at the end of his stint at Udinese and Monza had capitalised.
