Monza director Adriano Galliani has joined the San Siro Committee that are advocating for the new stadium to be built as soon as possible, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the former AC Milan executive is now one of the high-profile names that are a part of the San Siro Committee that are pressuring local authorities to get the new stadium built.

The committee actually came into existence in 2019 but they launched their manifesto on Thursday.

The founders of the group are Nicola Pelosi and Mauro Fagioli, backed by Forza Italia in the Milan City Council. Adriano Galliani has also joined the committee.

They have committed to organising a meeting to define the best way they can work with the necessary authorities, as soon as the transfer window has ended. They will want club figures to be part of the meeting.
