MIAMI – Montserrat earned an important victory as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 resumed on Wednesday.
The Road to the 2026 continues for Concacaf nations with the final encounters of the Second Round during the June 2025 match window. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Third and Final Round.

Barbados and Aruba drew 1-1 in Group C at Wildey Turf in Bridgetown, Barbados.
A penalty attempt allowed Barbados to take the lead early, with Omani Leacock converting from the spot in the 6’ to score for the hosts.
Diederick Luydens tied for the visitors in the 15’, striking from a corner kick opportunity.
Leacock had another try from the penalty marker but was just wide of the right post in the 90’+5’ to split the points.
Aruba improved to two points, moving the nation to third in the group, while Barbados collected its first point of the campaign. The result dashes both nations’ hopes from advancing past the Second Round.
