In Montpellier, the goalkeeper hierarchy has already been set in stone. While there are still a few uncertainties regarding the lineup that will face Le Mans, Zoumana Camara has left no doubt about his final defensive stronghold.

The former Olympique de Marseille shot-stopper, who joined this summer, has already demonstrated that he can handle the responsibility. Last season, as Nîmes Olympique's starting goalkeeper in the National, Simon Ngapandouetnbu played 26 matches and kept 11 clean sheets. These performances back up the trust placed in him and explain why his position as first-choice keeper is simply unquestionable.

"I don't yet know the team that will play against Le Mans. There's only one position I know for sure, and that's the goalkeeper. It will be Simon Ngapandouetnbu. He's coming in as number one. And he's here to be number one," stated the Montpellier coach.

At 22, Simon Ngapandouetnbu is set to begin his first season as Montpellier's undisputed number one. He never had the chance to prove himself at OM, the club where he was developed.
