AS Monaco manager Adi Hütter has revealed that Vanderson (22) and Mohammed Salisu (24) could both make the matchday squad to face Le Havre AC on Saturday.

Salisu hasn’t played since his summer arrival from Southampton and underwent surgery on a pubalgia issue in September. The Ghanaian international has since been working his way back to full fitness, whilst Vanderson hasn’t played for the Principality club since the 3-2 victory over Olympique de Marseille at the end of September. However, both are nearing returns.

Vanderson & Salisu in, Boadu out?

Salisu is on the right path, Vanderson is on the right path,” began Hütter. “I need to have a conversation with both of them to see how they are feeling. Vanderson has trained the last two days. His sessions were really good. I’m happy that both are back and we’ll see if they will make the squad.”

However, it is not all positive news for Les Monégasques.Only Myron Boadu and Eliesse Ben Seghir are injured. Myron has a quadriceps injury. It wasn’t due to the foul against Brest, it happened a day later in training. Everyone knows about Eliesse, he has had surgery on his shoulder injury,” said the Austrian.
