AS Monaco have officially announced that the France under-17s goalkeeper, Jules Stawiecki (16) has joined the club on a three-year deal from Dijon FCO.

The young talent has been a highly touted prospect and his signing represents a real coup for the future of Les Monégasques. Stawiecki joined Dijon in 2013 where he played for the team in their under-17s and under-19s age brackets, before making the step up to the reserves this season where he made ten appearances.

Stawiecki already a young international

The sixteen-year-old also recently became an international when he represented France in the under-17s team and notably started for Les Bleuets in their qualification campaign for the upcoming Euros against Estonia and Romania.

Praised for his comfort on the ball, his maturity, and his proactivity at the back Stawiecki looks like an astute addition, and will now join up with Monaco’s Elite Group led by the coach Damien Perrinelle where he will look to develop his obvious talent further.
