AS Monaco may be slightly depleted for their final game of the Ligue 1 season, however, their objective has already been reached and their position cannot change. Last weekend’s 2-0 win over Montpellier HSC guarantees their second place in Ligue 1 and they will therefore return to the UEFA Champions League proper for the first time since the 2018/19 season.

For their final game of the season, at home against FC Nantes, Monaco will be without the likes of Maghnes Akliouche and Breel Embolo. The former is suspended, whilst the latter, suffering from a minor hamstring injury picked up in last weekend’s win, also miss the encounter. However, the Swiss forward’s participation in the upcoming Euros is not in question.

Ismail Jakobs, Aleksandr Golovin, Denis Zakaria and Guillermo Maripán, all of whom were already absent for Adi Hütter’s side, all miss out too.
