As confirmed by Adi Hütter, AS Monaco will be without captain Denis Zakaria when they face Bologna in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The Swiss international has missed the last two games with an adductor injury. He is joined on the sidelines by Mohammed Salisu and Folarin Balogun, both of whom are expected to return after the upcoming international break. Given the failed experiment to play Aleksandr Golovin in a deeper midfield role against SCO Angers, Hütter may bring in Soungoutou Magassa alongside Lamine Camara.
Having been used more sparingly by Monaco in recent games, Eliesse Ben Seghir is expected to return, whilst Breel Embolo will lead the line as Hütter reverts to a 4-2-3-1 formation. George Ilenikhena will therefore drop to the bench.
Radoslaw Majecki; Caio Henrique, Thilo Kehrer, Wilfried Singo, Vanderson; Soungoutou Magassa, Lamine Camara; Eliesse Ben Seghir, Aleksandr Golovin, Maghnes Akliouche; Breel Embolo.
