Molineux, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, has been selected to host the 2023/2024 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official press release from The Football Association this morning.

This season’s final will be staged outside of the south of the country for the first time since 2020 when Chelsea defeated Arsenal 2-1 at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground. Molineux is a venue that has been regularly used by The Football Association in recent years and Wolverhampton Wanderers have impressed when hosting events.

Speaking following this morning’s announcement, Nikki Doucet, Chief Executive Officer of the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship said “We’re thrilled to have secured Molineux as the venue for this season’s FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final.

“It is one of the country’s most iconic stadiums – one steeped in history – and will be a fantastic stage for one of the season’s showpiece moments.

“We’re very much looking forward to working with Wolves over the coming months ahead of what promises to be another exciting final.”

The 2023/2024 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm on Sunday 31 March 2024 with the game being broadcast live on BBC One. Tickets for match are now on-sale and are available to purchase by clicking here.
