Is Liverpool star Mohamed Salah the best footballer in the world right now?

The Egyptian forward has been the Premier League’s standout performer so far this season and produced another scintillating display against Watford on Saturday lunchtime.

Salah provided a beautiful assist for Sadio Mane to open the scoring in the ninth minute.

Roberto Firmino then scored twice either side of half-time to put Liverpool 3-0 up early in the second half.

By 54 minutes, it was 4-0 thanks to a moment of breathtaking individual quality from Liverpool’s star player.

After receiving the ball from Firmino inside the box, Salah somehow wriggled his way past several Watford players before cutting back and smashing the ball into the far corner of the net past the helpless Ben Foster.

His footwork is unreal.

That is a truly outstanding goal from Salah.

What a footballer and what an incredible season he’s having.
