Modric works out final Milan details before medical | OneFootball

Luka Modric’s entourage were spotted at the AC Milan headquarters today to finalise the details of his contract, as the Croatian veteran will have his medical next week.

The midfielder has given his word that he will join the Rossoneri as a free agent, with a one-year contract lined up plus option for a second, said to be worth just under €4m per season including bonuses.

Much like Kevin De Bruyne and Napoli, it was decided to postpone the medical tests and contract signing until after international duty.

Croatia will play World Cup qualifiers against Gibraltar on Friday, then the Czech Republic on Monday.

There is a small gap to undergo the Milan medical, before he joins up with the Real Madrid squad to participate in the Club World Cup.

Modric will turn 40 in September, but still has a lot to give after 13 years at Real Madrid where he won absolutely everything.

MilanNews.it spotted his representatives at Casa Milan today, where they were finalising the details of the deal.

He jumped at the chance, having been a supporter of the Serie A club since childhood, a fact that was revealed by ex-Milan star Zvonimir Boban.
