Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp shocked everyone on Saturday as they publicly argued as Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw at West Ham United. The result, truly ending all hope of the Premier League title, has ended up being something of a minor talking point.

First, there was Lucas Paqueta's challenge on Alexis Mac Allister that brought questions of officials. Then came a bizarre incident as Anthony Taylor blew his whistle for seemingly no reason, right as Cody Gakpo was preparing to score.

Above all, though, there was the Salah / Klopp argument. It's unheard of at Liverpool - two true legends publicly at odds. And mid-game, to boot.

Klopp had very little to say about it after the game when talking to TNT Sports, limiting things to just one sentence that put it all behind him.

Salah, though, had a far more interesting line and one that suggests it isn't behind the pair. Reporters attempted to stop the Egyptian for an interview in the mixed zone, but both Paul Gorst and James Pearce claim he rejected the chance with the following:

What a shocking turn of events, right at the end of Jurgen Klopp's reign. The biggest question now, though, is whether this is also the end of Salah's reign.

He will have one year left on his contract when the season is done and Liverpool may wish to cash-in. Salah himself may want to leave, if this argument is anything to go by.

Two legends falling out, let alone two synonymous with one another, is about as bad a way to end the season as possible. Salah's comments don't exactly paint a picture of being ready to move on, either, and it's a situation we almost certainly haven't heard the last of.
