The Premier League Golden Boot has been shared for just the second time since 2011.

And Mohamed Salah has been one of the men with his hands on it each time.

The Egyptian entered the final day of the season on the bench against Wolves and was briefly behind in the race to be the Premier League’s top scorer as  Heung-min Son, who started the day a goal behind, netted twice for Tottenham at Carrow Road.

Those goals took Son onto 23 for the campaign but Salah put Liverpool 2-1 up before they later scored another through Andrew Robertson.

It wasn’t enough for Liverpool to win the title, as Manchester City came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 and clinch the league, but Salah’s strike does mean he wins a third Premier League Golden Boot as Son becomes the first Asian player to ever claim the award.
