MN: Why Yacine Adli joining Salernitana is a solution that could satisfy everyone

AC Milan seem to have made the decision to part ways with Yacine Adli, a report claims, but only on a temporary basis.

MilanNews write how Adli has been reduced to a marginal role this season with just one start in Serie A to his name, and that is unlikely to change in the final part of the season given every game is decisive in the top four race and with a Champions League semi-final to come.

It is not easy to settle into a new country at a new club with new team-mates and different expectations, but the fact Adli has made just five appearances suggests he has failed to convince Stefano Pioli so far.

Between now and the end of the season, the Frenchman will have seven games available to round off his season in the best possible way, but at the end of the season he may well have his bags already packed.

A loan deal seems likely at this stage and Salernitana are interested in signing him, with Paulo Sousa their head coach. He trusts Adli, so much so that he fielded him in more than 30 games at Bordeaux between 2019 and 2020.

It feels like a deal that suits everyone, because Milan could further test the qualities of the player in Serie A, while there is also the possibility that Pasquale Mazzocchi could come the other way and be the new deputy to Theo Hernandez.
