Patrick Dorgu is a player in demand this summer after impressing with Lecce and AC Milan have been named among his potential suitors.
According to MilanNews, Napoli are the latest club that are evaluating Patrick Dorgu for their left flank. The Danish defender is admired by many clubs in Serie A, even if the Azzurri will first have to sell someone first to make room.
Mario Rui will probably return to Portugal and discussions with the three main clubs – namely Sporting Lisbon, Porto and Benfica – have been going on for quite some time, although nothing has been done so far.
His departure would open up the possibility of bringing Dorgu to Naples, regardless of the potential signing of Leonardo Spinazzola on a free transfer. This is because Matias Oliveira can also act as a wing-back in the three-man defence Antonio Conte plans to use.
Dorgu’s valuation is still quite high – over €10m – and there is also competition. Atalanta are keen in case of Mitchell Bakker’s farewell, while Milan have been following him for a long time.
In recent months there was also talk of Bayer Leverkusen, even if the German champions have made an investment in Belocian from Rennes, who can also play as a left winger.
It is worth noting that earlier today Zlatan Ibrahimovic claimed Alex Jimenez will be Theo Hernandez’s deputy at left-back, which in theory would close the doors to any investment.
