MN: Milan make decision regarding potential midfield signing in January
SempreMilan
AC Milan will not make a signing for the midfield department because they believe they have enough to get through until the end of the season, a report claims.
It has not been an easy situation for Stefano Pioli to manage recently and while there is a lot of talk about the need for a reinforcement in the centre-back department, the midfield has been stretched since the start of 2022 because Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer are at the African Cup of Nations and Sandro Tonali picked up a Spezia.
However, MilanNews reports that despite everything Milan have decided that they will not do anything in January regarding the double pivot, and they will postpone any signings in this area of the pitch until the summer.
It must be noted that Yacine Adli will arrive from Bordeaux when his loan with them expires which adds an extra body and Tommaso Pobega will come back from his loan at Torino too, but Franck Kessie could well depart as his contract expires.
