There is no doubt, at this point, that Sven Botman is the No.1 target of AC Milan to reinforce the defence. Bremer is also a hot candidate but it seems the Rossoneri will have to find another solution for this month.

Botman and Bremer are key players for Lille and Torino respectively and thus it’s easy to understand that the operations are difficult, not to mention the price tags. As a result, Milan could opt for a low-cost solution this month.

This was reported by MilanNews, stating that the Rossoneri’s plan B is indeed to bring in a cheaper defender this month and mobilise their efforts for the summer. And for that transfer window, Botman and Bremer will be the two candidates.

Alessio Romagnoli recently recovered from Covid-19 and this means that the situation is looking a little bit better. Milan are also hoping to recover Fikayo Tomori for the derby, which would be a huge boost.
