Simon Kjaer could return to the pitch for the first time since December when AC Milan face Marseille on Sunday evening, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News today, the Danish defender could be taking to the field in the Milan shirt for the first time since he suffered an extremely serious knee injury back in December which kept him out of most of the title-winning campaign.
He certainly does not seem in line to start the game but it is not hard to envisage him getting some minutes at the end of the match.
The player himself and the medical staff at the club are not going to take any unnecessary risks for a friendly match so he will only make an appearance if it is clear that he will not aggravate the injury.
Milan face Marseille at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday evening at 18:00 CET.
