Today, AC Milan’s CEO Giorgio Furlani hosted a lunch at Casa Milan to show his gratitude to the club’s employees for their contributions and daily work for the club.
In the past few weeks, the word unity has been a mainstay for Milan, and today, Furlani made an attempt to show the club’s gratitude for the staff’s continued efforts and daily work, according to a report from Milan News.
As the report suggests, the CEO made plans to host the lunch before the derby, with the idea of thanking staff for the ‘commitment and unity of those present who contribute, with their daily work, to the cohesion of the whole club’.
The efforts of the staff are considered fundamental by the club’s management, and this is why the lunch was attended by several senior members of the Rossoneri including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Geoffrey Moncada and Jovan Kirovski.
With the club looking more united on the pitch, due to the efforts of Paulo Fonseca last week, the lunch feels like an extension of the good feeling surrounding the club after the derby. Keeping the club united across all fronts will only be a good thing moving forward too, so Furlani’s display of gratitude bodes well.
