There are exactly fifteen days left until the end of the current transfer window, but Milan still have some gaps in their squad they wish to fix.

Milan have already moved to strengthen the team with the signings of Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz and Ciprian Tatarusanu as well as the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the arrival of Ante Rebic on a permanent deal.

According to MilanNews, Milan have already covered several gaps but the work is not finished yet. The current priority is to add a centre-back in order to add depth to a department which is currently stretched due to the injuries to Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio.

Leo Duarte, who has not played a full game since last November, does not seem to offer guarantees and the Brazilian could leave on loan to make room for a new arrival.

In addition, Stefano Pioli’s side arrived in Dublin on Thursday night with only one right-back. Andrea Conti is injured while Pierre Kalulu remained out of the squad due to the reduced number of slots available, but it is clear that such a choice makes it clear that the player is not yet considered ready by Pioli.

It is difficult for another right-back to arrive, but Milan could “fix” this problem by finding a centre-back who can also operate on the right, while Alexis Saelemaekers could also fill in there.

If the Rossoneri were to qualify for the Europa League groups, it is highly probable that a new midfielder such as Bakayoko or another target will arrive.

Lucas Paqueta is out of the project and will be sold, in his place Milan could sign a more functional offensive player who can complete the department.
