Despite being on the pitch during the bad moments for AC Milan yesterday, Warren Bondo is a player with quality and class, and he was not at fault for the poor opening 60 minutes.
Arriving in January, Bondo has not yet had a chance for Milan, due to injuries before he joined, yet he showed that he can be another option in midfield when needed, and when Sergio Conceicao named him among the starters, there was an element of hope for what was to come.
Unfortunately, the result during his time on the pitch was not great, with the Rossoneri two goals down. However, he had not played a part in these failings, and had a solid game despite the scoreline, and the final result.
As Milan News recalls, the midfielder made 38 passes out of 50, whilst also being fouled once, shooting once and recovering possession three times – this is all whilst minutes have been limited since joining.
Without a doubt, he is one for the future, and now, the report states, the club ‘must work’ on the player, rather than overlooking him. He has qualities that can ‘carve out an important spot’ within the team in years to come, if not a lot sooner.
