AC Milan fully intend to buy Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea on a permanent basis and a top four finish would make it automatic, a report claims.

As MilanNews writes, six points could be enough to finally secure a long-awaited return to the Champions League, depending also on the results of those around them. If it is secured, Milan will start working on the purchase of Tomori.

The monstrous performance in the away match at Juventus was just the latest confirmation of how solid and important the player is for the Rossoneri’s defensive department. The club’s intention is to keep him, the Englishman has expressed his desire to stay and is enthusiastic about his Italian experience.

Only the Champions League is missing and that important revenue that will be used to buy him from Chelsea for around €28m. Tomori’s purchase could be one of the first transfer market operations for Milan ahead of next season.
