MN: Chelsea could cover part of salary as Milan eye formula for Ziyech deal
SempreMilan
Hakim Ziyech has been heavily linked with AC Milan over the last 24 hours and it seems the negotiations are proceeding well. The Morrocan international could be the perfect solution for the Rossoneri’s attacking trio.
Stefano Pioli has asked Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to bring in a top-class player that can play both in the centre and to the right. Ziyech fits the bill and ever since the renewals of the directors were completed, they have been working on the transfer.
According to MilanNews, Milan want to bring in the former Ajax man on a paid loan with an option to buy. Chelsea seem willing to cover part of Ziyech’s salary, which is a big plus for the Rossoneri as that is one of the biggest obstacles for the deal.
Negotiations are continuing and it remains to be seen what the outcome of Milan’s interest – which is indeed very concrete – will be. Other sources (read here) have suggested that the operation could be worth a total of €25m.
