MLS announce 2023 MVP winner

The 2023 Major League Soccer MVP has been revealed on Monday.

This season’s winner won by a landslide, with the honour going to FC Cincinnati’s Luciano Acosta.

The Argentine midfielder registered 31 goal contributions for the club, helping them win their first-ever trophy.

He won the award with 60% of the vote, beating out Denis Bounaga (15%) and Thiago Almada (6%).

It’s the second individual title for the 29-year-old this season, after also winning the Goal of the Year.
