Stefano Pioli will be able to lean on the veteran experience of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud next season, but there are already thoughts about more long-terms options.

MilanLive writes that the management want to sign a young striker who would to grow behind the duo of Ibrahimovic and Giroud. The hot name at the moment is Kaio Jorge of Santos, but it will be necessary to understand if Santos will sell him under the conditions that Milan have offered, i.e. a very low transfer fee given that his deal expires in five months.

No big surprises are expected in the current mercato, but the report adds that a sizeable investment could very well be made next summer, when Ibrahimovic will be 40 and Giroud 35, especially given that the former could also retire.

An important investment could be made on Dusan Vlahovic, who has not yet renewed with La Viola and without an agreement by next summer, a farewell would be practically certain given his deal runs until 2023.
