The family of high-profile football agent Mino Raiola have confirmed he has died at the age of 54.
Widespread reports on Thursday falsely claimed Raiola had died following an illness, and the Italian was forced to confirm via social media that he was in fact still alive.
But on Saturday, a statement released via his official Twitter account confirmed he has now sadly passed away.
Raiola was born in Italy but grew up in the Netherlands, going on to become one of the most recognisable agents in the sport, representing the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimović, Paul Pogba, Erling Haaland and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
