Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has opened up on talks with Borussia Dortmund sport director Michael Zorc over his client’s future.
The 20-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in European football and has been the subject of speculation linking him with moves to the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Raiola, as well as Haaland’s father Alf-Inge, were pictured in Barcelona earlier this month amidst reports of the pair meeting officials for talks around the Norwegian striker moving to the Camp Nou.
Haaland’s advisor has now held discussions with his current club over his future, and the 53-year-old has lifted the lid on those talks.
Speaking to SPORT1, he said: “I can confirm that I was in Dortmund for talks.
“Michael Zorc made it clear to us that Dortmund does not want to sell Erling this summer.
“I respect this opinion, but what does not automatically mean that I also agree.
“Dortmund were very clear in their views. We are okay with that.
“There is no war between us and Dortmund – absolutely not!”
Haaland has scored 33 goals in his 34 appearances so far this season, and has a release clause allowing him to leave the Bundesliga club for a reported €75m next summer.
