Milton Keynes Dons made it consecutive wins over FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division leaders with a 1-0 result against nine-player Rugby Borough.

Northern Premier Division

Burnley 2-0 Halifax Stourbridge 7-2 West Bromwich Albion (Att: 410) Derby County 1-2 Stoke City (Att: 340)

Burnley moved six points clear with victory over Halifax, Aimee Kelly scoring in either half. Stoke went third after a second-half fightback to win at Derby, with goals from Saffron Jordan and Shannon Stamps. Stourbridge leapfrogged West Brom with a big win over the Baggies in a Black Country derby.

Southern Premier Division

Chatham Town 0-0 London Bees Billericay Town 1-2 Hashtag United (Att: 358) Milton Keynes Dons 1-0 Rugby Borough (Att: 289)

Hashtag United are back on top after victory in an Essex derby in which Gemma Baker scored a decisive second. MK Dons edged morning leaders Rugby by a Zoe Creaney goal, after Borough had Demi Walker sent off in the first half, followed by a red card for Angelina Nixon on 73 minutes. London Bees got off the mark with a goalless draw in the basement battle at Chatham.

Division 1 Midlands

Notts County 2-4 Peterborough United (Att: 162) Solihull Moors P-P Leafield Athletic Sutton Coldfield Town 1-1 Sporting Khalsa (Att: 135)

Peterborough went second when winning at Notts County, Sporting Khalsa are up to third after a draw at Sutton Coldfield, whose early opener from Lois Jefferies was cancelled out on 17 minutes by Lowri Walker.

Division 1 North

Norton & Stockton Ancients 2-2 Durham Cestria (Att: 287) Chorley 1-4 Stockport County (Att: 110) Doncaster Rovers Belles 0-4 York City (Att: 153) Leeds United 4-1 FC United of Manchester (Att: 189) Middlesbrough 1-0 Chester le Street Town (Att: 233)

Leeds beat FC United to move back level on points with the top two, York City edged above Doncaster on goal-difference when beating them 4-0 away, Jessica Gillin got a brace in the opening seven minutes as Stockport won at Chorley, Norton’s Sophie Hodgson struck a quick double into the last 16 minutes to wipe out Durham Cestria’s advantage. Eve Marshall got the only goal as Middlesbrough beat Chester le Street.

Division 1 South East

Cambridge City 1-1 AFC Sudbury (Att: 79) Haywards Heath Town 0-4 AFC Wimbledon Queens Park Rangers 1-2 Actonians (Att: 78)

AFC Wimbledon went second with all four goals of the game at Haywards Heath, three for Ashlee Hincks and one by Emma Plewa. Actonians won a west London derby with late goals by Meila D’Santos and Tori St Clair to move above QPR into the top half. Cambridge City’s Rosy Wadhams scored as they gained a first point from a draw with AFC Sudbury, for whom Jessica Allen levelled.

Division 1 South West

AFC Bournemouth 7-1 Moneyfields Bridgwater United 1-0 Torquay United Exeter City 5-0 Portishead Town (Att: 181) Selsey 0-3 Southampton Women (Att: 62) Swindon Town 4-0 Maidenhead United (Att: 62)

AFC Bournemouth scored seven goals aided by a Gemma McGuinness hat-trick for a seventh straight win, Exeter City five for a sixth victory in a row. Swindon Town moved up to third, Southampton Women’s first win came at Selsey and Bridgwater beat Torquay with a Holly Tappin goal.
