Militão took questions from the media in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg clash with Chelsea. The defender underlined: "We have the lead but we have to go out to win the game and not think about anything else. We can't think about other things because it will be a tough match and if we start thinking about anything else, we'd be making a mistake. We have to go all out to win it."
"We have to carry on as we have been doing up until now. We're doing a good job and if we work together, it will be easier. It's bound to be a difficult game, we know that but we have to keep doing what we're doing."
First leg game "In the first leg, Chelsea played how we wanted them to and we did a good job. They're a great team, it's difficult to score against them. You have to work really hard because in the first game, Chelsea had chances and they have great players. We know we can't afford to make mistakes because in the Champions League, the team that makes the fewest mistakes ends up winning. We have to go out with the same mentality as in the first leg."
Are you the best centre-back in the world? "I'm on the road to becoming one. When I arrived it was difficult for me because of the amazing players ahead of me but I slowly started to show what I was capable of and I'm doing a good job now. I work hard at home and do all I can to improve and maintain the levels I'm reaching. It's very difficult if you don't look after yourself."
"I feel as though I've improved my concentration. I found that difficult in the past but with the help of everyone around me and the coach, I'm on the right path now. I listen a lot and I have to keep doing so. I'm in great form and I have to keep working hard to continue that." The modern centre-back “You have to work very hard because there are so many top class forwards around now. You have to be at your best physically, emotionally and personally. You have to be prepared because they put you to the test in every match. I think I'm doing that pretty well and the way everyone helps me out is hugely important. I give my all in every game to help my teammates feel more comfortable."
Vini Jr. "Vini Jr. is one of the best in the world right now and of course it's almost impossible to stop him because he never stops running."
Ancelotti "He's the ideal coach and he helps me so much. He speaks to me every day and he's taught me a lot. I have learned so much from him and I still have a lot to learn because he shows me something new every day."
Do you think Ancelotti will coach Brazil? "That's a question for him. I love working with him here. Of course, we joke around about that a lot but he has a contract here."
Are you ready to lead the Brazilian national side? “I have to keep improving but I feel very comfortable playing for my national team. It makes me very happy to play for my country and I have to keep working hard to improve."
