Milinković-Savić to undergo scans after leaving training with knee issue

Multiple outlets, including La Repubblica, have reported today that Lazio’s Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić has withdrawn from the training session as a result of a knee issue.

The 25-year-old will undergo scans in the afternoon, although the injury is not expected to be serious. The club will be hoping for him to be at full fitness when their Serie A campaign resumes on June 24, away to Atalanta, as they look to push Juventus all the way in the race for the Scudetto.
