Along with Joshua Zirkzee, Milan are also sending out feelers for Chelsea striker Armando Broja and Artem Dovbyk of Girona FC, claim Sky Sport Italia.

There are mixed reports this evening on what precisely the situation is with Bologna forward Zirkzee, who has a €40m release clause in his contract, so negotiations with the club are unnecessary.

The only sticking point is the commission demanded by his agent, who is asking for €15m as reward for getting that release clause put into the contract when making the move from Bayern Munich to the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Sportitalia are confident that Zirkzee will get his agent to drop the demands to €10m, whereas Sky Sport Italia maintain Milan are anxious they won’t be able to lower the €15m request.

Milan keep options open on the market

With that in mind, Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio suggests that the Rossoneri are also sending out feelers for two other strikers.

They are Broja, who again has no room at Chelsea and is looking for the exit, and Girona forward Dovbyk.

It is hardly the first time that Milan have been linked with Broja, who was on loan at Fulham and could potentially be loaned out again with an option to buy.

As for Dovbyk, he is believed to have a verbal agreement with Girona to let him leave if an offer worth €40m comes in.
