While Milan try to get dead weight Divock Origi off their books, Igli Tare is targeting KRC Genk and Nigeria international striker Tolu Arokodare.

The Rossoneri need sales in order to fund the reinforcements required for a total revamp under new coach Max Allegri this summer.

Several moves are already done, with Tijjani Reijnders sold to Manchester City and Theo Hernandez all ready for Al-Hilal.

A player they are desperate to get rid of is Origi, who has been a total disaster since he arrived as a free agent from Liverpool in 2022.

Locked down to a contract until June 2026, he failed in a loan experience at Nottingham Forest, then this season did not play at all, as he was relegated to the Milan Futuro youth team.

The 30-year-old Belgian was spotted at club headquarters this afternoon to discuss a termination by mutual consent, but has still not worked out the terms, as he wants compensation.

His salary is worth a massive €4m net per year.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport suggest Milan are looking to bring in Genk striker Arokodare, a very tall and physically imposing 24-year-old.

He has one goal in four senior caps for Nigeria and made the move from Amiens to Genk in January 2023 at a cost of €5m.

Arokodare scored 23 goals with seven assists in 45 competitive appearances for the Belgians this season.
