Fabrizio Romano claims that Milan are now intensifying their pursuit of KAA Gent left-back Archie Brown, hoping to avoid a costly bidding war.
The Rossoneri sold Theo Hernandez to Al-Hilal today for a reported €25m plus bonuses, also getting his huge salary off their books.
Now they need a replacement and there were quite a few different candidates for the role, but transfer pundit Romano reports this evening that they have now decided to go all in for Brown.

The English player is very versatile, able to play at left-back, in a more advanced role, or even in central defence.
There had already been links with other Serie A clubs, such as Lazio and Torino, so Milan want to get the deal done and beat any competition.
Gent only paid €4m to sign Brown from Lausanne-Sport in 2023 and his contract runs to June 2027.
In the most recent campaign, he made 46 competitive appearances in Belgium, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
