The forward only turned 19 in December and made a big impact for the Rossoneri, scoring two goals in just four appearances between Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

Originally part of the Parma youth academy, the decision was made to loan Traore out in order to get more regular playing time.

There is also reported to be an option to buy included in the deal worth €10m plus a percentage of the sell-on fee.

AC Milan can confirm that Chaka Traorè has joined Palermo FC on loan until 30 June 2024, with the option to make the deal permanent.

The Club would like to wish Chaka all the best for the rest of the season.”

He had been approached by both FC Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland and English Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

However, he signed for Palermo, who are challenging for promotion from Serie B.

The Ivorian can play on the left wing, right or as a support striker and joined Milan for €600,000 plus bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee in the summer of 2021.
